Residential

(Condominium, Rental)

Most elevator accidents that occur in residential buildings happen when people are rushing, distracted or feeling inconvenienced.  These behaviours are often caused when people are:

  • Trying to use their smart phone while getting on the elevator
  • Hurrying because they are late for work or an appointment
  • Frustrated because the elevator is taking too long or is full when it gets there
  • Overloaded with groceries or packages

The next time you find yourself in one of these situations, take a breath and keep your cool otherwise your actions could cause an accident and delay you further.
